A guy looks at the thistle (4)

Up and out early for a walk along the camino near where we are staying. A bit too hot to see much birdlife, but some interesting pics. These are a pair of artichokes that have been left to go to flower. When they are picked for eating they are picked long before they get to this stage. This part of Spain is reknowned for its arichoke production. They are also apart of the thistle family, which is apparent when you see them flower.
Had a lovely beach day today. The water was mighty fine. Need to cut this blip short as the rest of my family are waiting on me to finish this to go into town and get something to eat.

¡Vamos pa' alla!
