Waiting Patiently

Much fresher today after a rather humid night, so we headed off to the Kingdom of Fife for lunch at the Balgove Larder near St Andrews. There was a new Steak Barn open today, so we had the most delicious steak lunch in a barn made from pallets! Very clever idea and fantastic food:-)

I'd booked a tour of the Eden Brewery for my husband and son-in-law, so we dropped them off at Guardbridge and then my daughter and I continued to St Andrews for a wander round the town, the Cathedral and the Castle. Her first visit, so she really enjoyed it and the weather was gorgeous. These two Border Collies were waiting patiently for their owner outside a hotel near the Castle, so I couldn't resist a blip of them.

After collecting the brewery tourists (plus beer!), we carried on to Anstruther and enjoyed a stroll round the harbour in the late sunshine before a leisurely drive home again along the coast road. A lovely day, enjoyed by all of us:-)
