The Real Deal

I'd like to tell you these are my cherries of a few days ago having ripened (and grown), but you wouldn't believe me anyway:-)  They are, instead, the largest, juiciest cherries I've bought in a long time and they were grown just up the road from here.

A friend put me on to a summer shed that sells berries of all sorts, as well as potatoes, veg and eggs.  When there is nobody manning the shed, as today, there's an honesty box on the wall for your money.  How lovely to be trusted:-)

The fruit is superb and I'll certainly be back for more before the "summer" is over:-)
