Aperture on Life

Dungeness

...with the Hampshire Photography Friends and the Bristol Student who is finally back from Uni.

It is a desert with no end of junk, many abandoned boats and very expensive listed shacks. I can see why it's a favourite for film directors and photographers alike.
Not a tree in sight, it's not a place you want to be under blistering sun. Fortunately for us, it was cooler and a light haze kept the worst of the rays at bay.

To get there we caught one of the one third sized steam trains that run on 15 inch rail track. Beautifully kept trains were being warmed up to run under blankets in this shed. I'm not sure we were meant to walk in and take photos but, Daisy, myself and another member of the group, sauntered in as if we had full permission and started snapping away.
