There's no lights on the Christmas tree Mama,

They're all spiders webs!
Our big real Christmas tree lives in its pot by the drive for most of the year and gave us a real treat this morning. The early morning mist loaded thousands of tiny water droplets on to the webs and they caught the light like so many miniature crystals.
We bought that tree as a little three footer a few years ago and it is now a good six foot and growing. I fear it will be too big/heavy to bring indoors this year so it may have to remain outside - with some coloured lights on perhaps.
Music aficionados may have recognised the caption above. It is part of the title of the old Alex Harvey number "There's no lights on the Christmas tree Mama, they're burning Big Louie tonight" which is a nod to Glasgow's love affair with the cinema and Hollywood gangster films.
