They tell us that on the other side of the wall
there’s nothing.

They say that we’re better off
where we are.

It’s safer in here
they say.

But, in here, every day is the same
we tell them.

And the work. We’re always working
some of us point out.

When we mention that they take us,
one by one,
into a little room and have the same chat with each of us.

They tell us that on the other side of the wall

and that someone has seen through it.
