It's a hard job

It's been very hard to remove the ragwort from the fields next to our house. This lady was out there last year but at the end of August so I think everything is a month earlier when I look at my old blips.

Ragwort has several strange names including benweed, tansy ragwort, stinking Nanny/Ninny/Willy, dog standard, cankerwort and mare's fart ! The leaves have an unpleasant smell so I do think the job is very pleasant. The old tractor came down with a trailer and collected heeps of it.

The swallows are growing fast but still have their eyes closed.
