Dusk - Maligne Lake

Another day of gob smacking scenery - lakes and mountains. This is a very beautiful spot..

In the morning went up the Fiddle Valley to Miette hot springs where we had a lovely hot soak. A bit like sitting in a warm bath I thought - too hot for swimming but very relaxing none the less. We hired our costumes : I opted for the traditional garb which made me look like something out of the 19 th C.

In the afternoon we drove up to Maligne Lake past a spectacular gorge and the beautiful Medicine lake. Another good day of weather and think we have come at a good time as locals tell us the whole area gets very busy in July and August..managing to exert some portion control and had some cheap - but tasty - pizza in Jasper.
