This bird was trying to pick something up from the ground, but kept dropping it. Or at least that's what I thought was going on. Once I figured out that it had a worm, it was clear that the worm was likely wiggling away to try and save it's life! Unfortunately for the worm, the bird won.

(This is as close as I hope to get to a worm! As I take my nature photography walks, my biggest fear is that I will see a snake sometime. For some reason I put worms and snakes in the same category and want to avoid them.)
