Mt Hood, Oregon.

Absolutely beautiful.

I see it almost every day out of my bedroom window, but nothing can describe just how beautiful it is when you are on it.

And backpacking around it for two days.

With only your husband.

And the various birds, bugs, and wildflowers.

Approximately 6 miles in to Paradise Park, where we camped.

A beautiful sunset hike to Split Rock, some dehydrated raspberry crumble for dessert, and a mini movie on the iPhone.

And lots of quiet.

Not a lot of sleep, but there will be time for that tomorrow night.

I rarely say this, but view large to see the real beauty...
