ridge tile

This is the finished piece and the last one of the ridge tile series of this size (30cms) as the tile itself broke into two pieces in the kiln! so I will be working on a smaller series than originally planned. The ridge tile is from my studio roof which was badly damaged in the storms last year and had to be replaced along with most of the original slate tiles. They are now filling a builders bag in the garden for when inspiration strikes on what I can do with them. At the moment I'm considering a very large number of plant labels or making a border for the beds out of them..
