Dusty Cap

Three weeks ago we were supposed to visit Ingo and Sibrich and their daughters Jiska and Silvana in Westeremden. Due to heavy snowfall, it was impossible to go there and we agreed then we would go on January 31: today. Yesterday it started snowing again and Nienke was very afraid we couldn't go today either. Fortunately, the situation on the road was a lot better so today we made it.

Ingo is a potato farmer. He has several barns and they provide lots of opportunities for taking pictures. For today I have chosen a very dusty cap hanging on a nail. When I showed the picture to Ingo, he insisted that this shot could not have been taken in his barn because he had never seen that cap before. Very odd, because it's the first thing I spotted when opening the door to the barn :-)

The kids really enjoyed themselves on the farm today and that meant their parents also had a good time! That's a wrap on an excellent weekend!

Wow, I just realised that this marks my first ever complete month of blipping. Isn't that great?
