Capital Journey

Arriving in Edinburgh this morning from London, the last of 50 or so trips I've made in the last 18 months. It's become a way of life and I've enjoyed it - but time for a change!

The ritual of handing back my ID, phone and so on was required, preceded by a leavers speech and card with a collection. I had the same in London, totalling £240 so I added £10 of my own and Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital gets £250. Good result.

Home to collect the children unpack my always-packed bags. I'll miss London, but it'll be good to actually live at home!
