Hawaii Clive-O

I could not wait to finish work today, not only because it was Friday but because a Festival weekend was on the cards.

After all the nice weather we've had over the past month or so it typically had to start raining today as we were camping in a field. But in true hardy British fashion we carried on regardless. A little break in the rain allowed us to pitch the tent, then it drizzled on and off all night.

This festival is a private event for friends and family and you needed to be associated with one of the bands or have seen them before to get an invite. The headliners Plastic Pantomime performed at the wedding of Simon & Jodie we went to in April which got us passes.

The farmer who allows the event is called Clive hence the name Clivestock but he is celebrating his 50 birthday this year so the event was renamed Hawaii Clive-O.

We had a wonderful night starting with a camp fire which we toasted marshmallows on, the plenty of drinks to get us in the mood for dancing all night and well into the morning. All we hoped for is it would be a dry the next day as the exit of the field was up a very steep and muddy track.....would we ever get out????

Thanks for looking
