Homeward Bound

After work I headed along to the "aplotment" to tidy up the thistles and dig up some potatoes - Cara and Maris Piper dug and what a handsome crop :)

I cycled home from the aplotment by the Belhaven path, my panniers bulging with potatoes and veg. The scene out to the Isle of May stopped me and I caught the gulls flying over. A beautiful evening.

A fantastic dinner ensued, warm salad with onion, carrot, marrow, beetroot, potatoes and steak. Fantastic.

Planning my commute a bit more creatively, and hoping to fit in a bit of cycling like I used to. Practice next week, for now it's the train all the way so it's good to get out in the evening.
