Lost Glow

The vacation glow is gone already. It was back to work for me today after 10 days off. Yikes, what a shock. I really shouldn't complain however, because the traffic was very light (everyone leaves DC in August), and I will be retired as of August 22!

This is an emergency blip. I have an educational presentation to give tomorrow (my last one!) and need to finish off my slides. As it was nearly dark, I quickly cut off a Crepe Myrtle bud and tried a few shots. It isn't as sharp as I would like, but it will have to do for tonight. I will catch up with everyone's blips tomorrow.
