Little Stinker

Another lunchtime spent in the undergrowth. This little Green Bug caught my eye, its was going back and forth into the sunlight so I waited for the moment when the light illuminated him nicely. Yay I finally can use my 5D for macro shots!

The Latin name for this little creature is Palomena prasina commonly known in Britain as the Green Shield Bug but over in the states and other countries is known as the Green Stink Bug.

I rather like the full on green saturation of this shot which is pretty much how it came out of the camera, I just increased the blacks a little for area contrast.

Thanks for looking
