Much analysis and media comment on last night's debate but the most telling outcome was seen in the post debate polling - a rise in support for YES , especially amongst women voters.

It was a very wet morning but I walked down to the Parliament none the less . This is the first time I have walked down there from my new flat in Royal Terrace ( yesterday I went to St Andrews House first).

Just as I came to Holyrood Palace this passed me and pulled in - a coach decorated for the Business for Scotland organisation and with the perfect destination board .

This afternoon the Parliament voted to remove Trident weapons from Scotland in the event of independence. Astonishingly Labour and the Lib Dems voted against.
