Overload

I played a lot of pickleball this morning, and really needed my afternoon nap. When my alarm went off, and I woke up, I heard sounds of much merriment coming from the living room. There were four women having a great time, as you can see here.

Cynthia and I went for an after-dinner stroll at Lake Padden. It was quite peaceful, except for this raucous group enjoying the water.

We saw an eagle swoop down and snatch a fish nearby. I grabbed a quick photo and managed to get the bird in the frame, but it was moving much too fast for my shutter speed. You can tell it's a large bird, and has something in its talons, but that's as far as it goes -- not a keeper!
