Echinacea

My flower border had become a little overgrown this year and probably needs a bit of work in the autumn. There is one plant that seems to have decided of its own accord that life would be better at the front of the border rather than the back, and a clump of daisies that seem to have decided they are the more important than everything else so need most of the space. They were past their best so I did a bit of cutting back and discovered this Echinacea plant; sadly too, a bit past its best. I had forgotten it was there; last year it had loads of blooms but the daisies have crowded it out.

Now, what happened to that chrysanthemum that was in the corner?
