Thursday: Maitre d' and Friend

Well, K. arrived back this evening, just as I was running out of food in the freezer.  We did a very hasty dropping of bags before heading out for dinner.  I don;t want to belabour a point but as K. wasn't here yesterday we went out for a celebratory birthday dinner.

And a lovely evening it was.  We went to a restaurant that we frequent quite often so the Maitre d', seen here on the right, is on very smiley terms with us.  No idea who his friend on the left is, but this shot led to him taking shots of us, and then having to swap e-mail addresses so that we could share photos.
