Incoming Snow

This morning when I dropped Sebastian off at preschool I promised that if he behaved I would take him to the 'mountains'. For him, the mountains are either "Gran's Mountains" or Victoria Park. He hasn't quite got a hold of that word yet, but that is ok. I know what he means. The cold never really left today, but by 4pm, it was really very cold. After collecting Mash, we went home and quickly collected some warmer clothes and a few essentials, then went into town to get Charlie. We arrived at Victoria Park just in time to see this stunning sunset. It was more beautiful than any camera could show.

There was snow at the park. SNOW! Mash was super unimpressed with the wind, so only lasted 5 minutes before retreating to the car. I can understand that! After the retreat, we took him to Governors Bay pub for hot chips and garlic bread and a round of scrabble (Sebastian plays by picking out the letters he likes and making words that look pleasing).

A lovely day and finally WINTER!
