Pause

Had a lucky trip to Morrisons this lunchtime - partly because it was a brief warm dry spell between torrential downpours, but also because I met up with former colleague Kim and we walked together and chatted.

We paused briefly for me to snap this.

The torrential rain resulted in traffic chaos at going-home time. Luckily I guessed as much and picked a back-road route. A bit of a gamble given that flooding would be more likely, and at times it was surprisingly deep. However, the dual carriageway had indeed been sufficiently full of clueless driving to end up stationary when I happened to cross over it.
