My New Delphinium

When I had my new shed base put in last year, I had to dig up a huge blue delphinium. It didn't survive the move and so I've been on the lookout for a replacement ever since. This is it. I found it half price in the local garden centre and I think that the colour is identical.

Our eldest Daughter and her husband are at their best friend's wedding today, so I have Alexander for a sleepover. We played 'If you see a crocodile...' which involves lots of screaming!! Great fun for two year olds, not such good fun for deerhounds. Poor Fionne wondered what on earth was going on.

It's rained on and off all afternoon and evening, so I've not got much done. I think I may just sit with a glass of wine and read a book.
