Battling Bumblebees

The Echinops flowers in my garden are so attractive to insects that they sometimes have to fight for a space on a bloom, as the bumblebee on the right had to do on landing. I had a 60mm macro lens with a 12mm extension tube on my Nikon D300s to get about 3inches from the action, and I set it to a fast shutter speed of 1/1600 second to freeze the motion with an ISO of 1600 to allow sufficient depth of field.
