The Cour

We got soaked on Caley's walk round Leanachan today. Poor light, moisture laden air and heavy rain all conspire to remove colour intensity in the world we perceive. I was going to use the term "de-saturate" but that almost suggests some moisture removing activity like wringing out soaking wet socks.

Anyway, it seemed appropriate to revert fully to mono for this shot with another couple of tweaks. The Cour looks low here and it is. This is because it is intercepted as it leaves the Grey Corrie mountain slopes to supplement the Alcan Hydro Scheme in Fort William.
