Les Flics

Late start, and then a trip out to a vide grenier at Gaillac. I think it was too hot for many stall holders to show up - and there weren't many shoppers either. There was a super band on though in front of a couple of restaurants and a few brave souls jiving in the mid-30s heat. Too hot to hang around though, not that the journey home in the overheated car was much better! One day we'll remember to check the aircon works before we buy a second hand car...

I'm not sure this car would be equipped with aircon either, but it was an incongruous site against Gaillac's ancient buildings.

Then an afternoon of green plasterboarding for Mr B and sewing for me.

A brief flurry of wind and ten minutes of heavy rain at the end of the afternoon spared me having to out into the heat to water the plants. But nothing like the weather the UK is suffering.
