Reflected Moon

It was quite late at night (near 9pm) before I went out for a walk on Saturday. Having walked into Bonnybridge and through the Bonnyfield Local Nature Reserve, I then joined the Forth & Clyde Canal for the return journey home. Darkness fell and, as the clouds cleared - by then it was nearly 10pm - a nearly-full moon shone brightly over the canal.

Unfortunately, my photographs don't really do the scene justice but the highlight was when I neared Underwood Lock and the moon was reflected on the canal. Brilliant, in more than one sense of the word!
