Northern Brown Argus

Today I enjoyed a trip out bird-watching to Frampton  in search of a red necked phalarope that had been seen yesterday but no sign of it today which was a shame. I did see the Glossy Ibis again managed to get a few shots which i have put on flickr  as the light was a lot better. Also there was a large amount of Godwits which can be seen Here. I decided on this shot of a northern brown Argus butterfly which we saw near to woodhall spa just a shame it didn't keep its wing open for me. I did also get to see a rare butterfly a Clouded yellow at fiskerton fen but it just flew past the hide and didn't settle so no time  to get my camera on it.
