Down by the River

Today we took a trip over to Horncastle a place where JULIE spent some of her time growing up. We enjoyed a walk along the River Bain that runs through the town before the weather turned and we got caught in a very heavy shower.
This shot is taken at the side of the old water mill , which is now all derelict which is a big shame .There has been a mill on this site since at least the early 18th century, and a mill is shown on a map of 1722. You can see another shot I took looking up to where i took this shot on flickr. I chose this shot as i really like the sky reflection.
