Keeping the lamp alight

I am doing a talk for Edfort on September 9th on the Flannan Lighthouse mystery and went up to town today to photograph the Northern Lighthouse Board building in George Street for my slides. I have never really noticed it before, and particularly I had never noticed this splendid model lighthouse that you can see near the bottom with a little flashing light!

So it was well worth the trip just for that but the Bird Guy then gave me a free bag of seed as he had run out of my usual which was really nice of him. :-) You don't get that service from a supermarket.
