The Football Player

Look out NFL! (National Football league) This is grandson Oskar at his 6th practice for the Lake City 89ers (8 and 9 year olds. Oskar is 9). He is obsessed with football. I gladly heard his parents say not that long ago that football would not happen in their family. It’s pretty scary to me. Well here he is with custom fitted helmet, happy as a clam. :-) He had to cut his beautiful long hair after the first practice - just wouldn't do under the helmet. He’s tough and a very fast runner so we will see….He was happy to see Grampa and me at his practice - (we just wanted to lay eyes on these tykes with the heavy helmets). Wanted to record it here first….and I’m sure we will be watching (and blipping?) a few games this fall.
