Breze Chateau

The kids loved this Chateau with it's two floors of underground caves and tunnels. It has the deepest moat I have ever seen.

Although we had a leaflet in English it was difficult to read it in the dimly lit tunnels, so we waited until we got home. I understood bits and pieces of the French on the boards around the place, but only bits and pieces. It could be an amazing experience, but I am guessing money is tight and it is not as famous a castle as some of the others. A proper café would certainly increase the income. All that said it was a very different chateau to visit and entertained the children no end.

Back home for lunch and then a bit of down time, before they hit the pool...in the rain and in their neoprene suits. The suits worked as they were in the pool for 90mins before they got cold. Timing was perfect for shower, tea, books and bed.
