Unknown berries

The shrub next to the back door in Holland needed a trim and suddenly we could see rather strange small berries on its branches. I have no idea what shrub this is, the garden has grown a bit wild, the fence has two or three plants growing over/through it and in any case the plants were all planted by my parents-in-law. I do know that the most likely shrub for these berries had rows of small white trumpet shaped flowers in spring, but it's not a polygonatum, as far as I can see. I'm guessing they might still change colour. Right now they're kind of opaque orange with these intriguing spots. Does anybody know these?

Thanks very much for your comments, stars and faves on yesterday grashopper amidst the roses :-)
