Enjoying the blackberries

It's blackberry time - and this Speckled Wood is getting in on the act.

In a spell of lovely sunshine, I fancied taking some butterfly shots so I went up to Christian Fields to see what was flying about.

The buddleia is nearly finished there but there were still quite a few large Whites, a very co operative Red Admiral, a Small Tortoiseshell and a Comma.

The Speckled Woods have moved on to something a bit juicier.
