Let's end mental health discrimination

Dropped by the Norwich MIND Festival of Cultures at the Forum this afternoon and - as ever - was most impressed by the Time to Change presence and their friendly, accessible approach to getting people to think about (and talk about) mental health. When Paola from Norwich MIND was giving a short welcome speech she said a lovely thing along the lines of 'all the activities and refreshments offered by the folks from Time to Change today are free. You don't need money. The only currency is conversation'.

There were stalls staffed by people from many of the different countries who are settled in Norwich, giving an idea of just how ethnically diverse our city is and a range of entertainment. It was the 10th anniversary of this event and to me is one of THE feelgood events in the Norwich calendar.

This is my chum Maddie, who is also a musician, who works for Time to Change and some more pics can be seen here.
