Kestrel in the rain

A young kestrel looking rather sorry for itself in the pouring rain. It did fly off soon after, landing on a nearby telegraph pole. All the young birds seem to be showing themselves now without their parents.

Went down to V's house this morning to hand over my WEA secretary's work after 13 or 14 years! Not that it is very time consuming but a change is needed.
