The lesser spotted Dilger!

It's Birdfair time of year again and time to catch up with friends old and new. Mike Dilger has appeared in this journal before on several occasions, sometimes in rather strange poses so here is another one!!!

Plenty to laugh at today but also a lot of food for thought. A fantastic talk this morning by Chris Packham and the team who brought the appalling slaughter which occurs in Malta (and elsewhere in the Mediterranean) during the spring bird migration to our attention earlier this year. Why anyone thinks that blasting thousands of birds out of the air is sport is beyond me.
