Up........

.....And Over

At Wickham Railway Station, Newcastle, Australia.
I loved the brightly coloured steps leading up to the walkway crossing the railway tracks.

They are very STYLISH
For Style on Sunday, the August Challenge organised by Chantler63

The internet was almost hopeless yesterday, but after many attempts I eventually managed to upload the photo from Fort Scratchley to my blip journal.

What I did today

**Today we woke to rain. The misty showers of yesterday afternoon had turned to very heavy rain overnight. It gradually cleared this morning until we basked in warm temperatures and under a blue sky.

**After coffee and cake we visited the Newcastle Museum – it is found in the ex Honeysuckle Railway Workshops – these buildings played an important role in the industrial life of Newcastle.

**Don’t miss this museum if you ever visit this city. The presentation is modern and appealing to all ages.

**As we wandered along the foreshore in the opposite direction today, many others did the same – all out to enjoy a beautiful day.

**Lunch was shared platters, then back to the hotel/apartment to collect our luggage for the train trip back to Sydney. Only four carriages and full to overflowing for most of the trip. It wasn’t nearly as pleasant as our ride Saturday morning.
