Mystics Killalea State Park

This is an unpatrolled beach and a big favourite for the local surfers.

It was very grey, no colour at all in the day but the waves were fantastic. They hit the cliff face and the next set comes in so quickly that they crash against each other and curl up towards the sky.

My hubby spotted a cave off in the distance and it wasn't until I was looking at this photo that I saw the small red life preserver. I'm not sure how you are supposed to climb down to it and throw it to a surfer in distress
