Seventies Seafaring Style!

With inspiration from Honeycombebeach and stepping up to the challenge of kagsy65, I offer up this rather odd image of yours truly somewhere in the middle of the North Sea in 1974. I was participating in the Tall Ships Race at the time, and clearly had absolutely no sense of style whatsoever!

Note the thigh high woolly socks pulled over the jeans, the oh-so-chic sea boots, the casually rumpled foul weather jacket, and that hippie style bandanna keeping my flowing locks out of my eyes! Style or no, that was one of the most memorable and fun summers I've ever had.
