It's Sunday, the day I actually buy newspapers and spend time reading them. I could probably get all this information on-line, but there is something satisfying about sitting at the breakfast table, turning the pages and occasionally shaking my head in disbelief, and they catch all the crumbs too so that's a bonus.
I'm now of an age where reading specs are required for certain lighting conditions and font size. This distresses me greatly and I try to avoid wearing them whenever possible. These are not my reading specs, these are an old pair of safety glasses that look much cooler than my reading specs do. My eyes could do with some protection as the independence debate rages on in print except in the English national press. I wonder why that is?
