Buile Hill Park Mansion - a bit sad ..........

...... built in the 1820's for Manchester's first Lord Mayor Thomas Potter (also co-founder of the Manchester Guardian), designed by Charles Barry who also designed the Houses of Parliament, and empty since the year 2000 when the Lancashire Mining museum closed, it looks a bit sad and unloved. Hopefully a new economic use will be found for a good looking building, situated in one of Salford's best public parks.
