Ashness Bridge

I know this view is a bit corny but it's still great and I have never blipped it before and, more importantly, there was a rare opportunity without people on it.

We had waited in this morning for a delivery and to do some jobs in our cottage so it was about 2pm before we ventured out for a walk. We bagged a couple of Wainwrights that we hadn't previously climbed (Bleaberry Fell and High Seat) before descending to Ashness Bridge. It was about 8 miles but we managed to catch a bus back to Keswick which was just as well as we were pretty tired.

It was 7pm before we were able to down a restorative pint in the Dog & Gun and we are now feeling better.
