What could have happened
to make this sign a necessity?
Was there some defining moment
when the congregation felt unsafe?
Did someone trespass to cause
injury or harm?
It is unusual to see this in front of
a religious building here
It is very near my home and on
a route I often travel
These questions come to mind
each time I pass by
