Sublime Point

Blackheath Blippers were delighted to welcome Miffy and her husband, Robin, from New Zealand to the Blue Mountains today.

The weather was un-obliging. On our first stop (after morning tea of course) at Govetts Leap we were presented with White Mountains - similar to views I have had of other famous places around the world. However the fog and cloud cleared a little at the aptly named Sublime Point for a few minutes.

At least it was good weather for waterfalls so we visited Leura Cascades and got some good shots there. However, as I blipped slow water yesterday, I'll stick with Sublime Point and hopefully someone else will produce a waterfall.

Then we had lunch at the Megalong Valley Tearooms followed by a brief visit to our farm. The day just flew and hopefully Miffy and Robin will be able to make a longer visit again soon.
