Mrs Black Swan On The Nest

Because it was Friday we managed to leave work a bit early for our afternoon walk. This meant that the light was not too bad and I got a reasonable shot of Mrs Black Swan on the nest just as she stood up and turned herself and then sat down again!

Just to the right of her here is where I blipped the goings on in the huge big ibis nest! :)

Its a lovely spot for a nest and she has made the mound that its on quite high which is good because with all the rain the level of the lake has risen considerably! Some of the ibis have also made small nests around her and it really is a lovely sight, cant wait for all the babies! :0)
