Old Pah Hill

This is part of Tasman's Great Taste Bike trail that has just crossed the Riwaka River before heading on to Kaiteriteri. The trail crosses both private and public land. Here it is pointing straight towards Old Pah Hill. This was a significant area in the early days of the Colony and it was here that the first settlers landed. The hill has been painted by artists like Colin McCahon and Toss Woollaston as well being a favourite for many amateurs.
