Fo a Giant Mushroom

These are some of the largest mushrooms I have seen. As the old expression goes: "the size of dinner plates"

I picked one and took it home for dinner.

Then I began to wonder what if.....

It had gills on the underside of the cap but I could not catch the unique mushroom smell. It was therefore decided to err on the side of caution.

No doubt I am about to be told that I have thrown away a perfectly good example of a mushroom....
