Today I've been mostly....

..... dodging the rain and succeeding.

Out on the mountain bike for three hours over Cannock Chase was just what I needed. The strong wind has blown the cobwebs off and the fact that there were very heavy black clouds in amongst the blue sky made it all look very dramatic.

The rain came just as we got back to the car which is always a good feeling, knowing you beat the weather (it doesn't always happen).

This tractor/Digger was in a field just off the chase and I couldn't work out if it was still in action or not, the tires were all inflated but it had broken windows and is in need of a lot of TLC. The field has obviously just been cut so I imagine this beast still lives and breathes

So the long weekend has got off to a good start.
